The trophy was donated to the club by Life Member Sheila Franzi (dec.), in memory of her husband Bill Franzi (dec.), who took a great interest in the younger players at the club.
The criteria for selection is based on ‘tennis ability, court demeanour, good sportsmanship and club involvement’.
